Volunteers

If you are interested in volunteering for FrontRunner's Pride Run on June 28, please review the assignments and descriptions. Timeslots are flexible from 7:30am - noon. Volunteer assignments can be arranged in groups if requested. All volunteers will receive a free t-shirt. Our Pride Run coordinator will contact you and provide additional details. Email volunteer@sffrontrunners.org.

Assignment Description
Balloon arches

Blow up 100 balloons. Create main race and kid's run arches.

Volunteer Coordination Find/coordinate event volunteers. Check in volunteers on race day. Reassign as needed.
Registration Distribute bibs, register new runners, exchange of money. Direction from Mark McConnell
Race Course Coordinate course details: cones, signage, flaggers, directionals
Finish Line Direction from Mark McConnell
T-shirt pickup Distribute T's to registered runners. Clearly mark bib to indicate receipt.
Sales Sell SFFR and Pride Run merchandise
BBQ Throw a grand post-race party! Mark bib to indicate food pickup.
Water Station #1 on JFK Set up station by 9:00. Hand water to passing runners. Clean up discarded cups post-race.
Water Station #2 - Polo Field South Set up station by 9:15. Hand water to passing runners. Clean up discarded cups post-race.
Clothes Check Have runners bag clothing, mark with bib # and name. Line them up by #. Retrieve for runners upon return.
Medical Illness or injury guy.
DJ Tunes!
Kids Run Designate 1/4 mile course with cones. Coordinate race. Give out awards.
Lead/Sweep Bikers Escort lead female and male runners. Escort last runner.
